| Club Structure Overview |

For an overview of the Olympos Marlins Swimming Club please view the Teaching Group We have a highly organised programme to teach our younger children to be strong all round swimmers based on the ASA National Teaching Plan. There are ten grades of progress simply named Grade 1 to Grade 10, the latter of which is nicknamed 'Mini-squad'. This final grade prepares the talented swimmers for their progress into the Squads Squad Swimming Although already a proven successful competitive squad, the Marlins have room for all those who love swimming - whether competing or not. Competitive Squads Those swimmers who want to compete and who can make the commitment move through the Bronze, Silver, Junior Gold and, finally, Gold squads, which nurtures talent and takes swimmers up to County, Regional, National levels and beyond. Training Squads Those who cannot or do not want to make a full commitment that is required of the 'competitive' squads, and who just want to swim to keep fit have the option of swimming in the Training Squads. To learn more about squad requirements and commitments please read the Masters Swimming Those aged 19 or over and still wish to continue swimming have the option of swimming in our Masters section. This is a very popular club for adults of all ages and abilities, with tailored teaching sessions for those learning to swim and squad coaching for our competitve Masters. The Olympos Marlins Masters section is proud to have British, European and World Record holders and champions amongst its swimmers Disability Swimming Having a disability is certainly no barrier to becoming a successful swimmer and we have many talented people in our disability section. We have two squads called Starfish (based in Olympos Haywards Heath) and Dolphins (based in Olympos Burgess Hill). Water Polo It's not all swimming! We have a talented squad of players of all ages. Water polo is a great sport to play. It builds fitness, team spirit and is a thoroughly enjoyable game to play by anyone. The Marlins have a very successful Women's team, in particular, who compete in the National Women's Water Polo League
